I think the most convenient way is Apple TV or other wireless video stream.
The outputs that your ACER has will determine the possibilities...most have video out or S-video. Direct connections are then OK
S video will likely work but you won't be satisfied with picture quality unless you have the right video card and connection... ask the people you bought your laptop from.
