Is 'Across the Universe' playing anywhere in Arizona?

I am getting very irritated because I've been waiting for this movie to come out for almost 2 months and have been extremely excited about it... just to find out it isn't playing anywhere within 45miles of my house. I don't quite understand why they have so many damn commerchials if they aren't going to play the ******* movie?

If anyone finds a theatre in Arizona playing this film please let me know ASAP

Arghhhhhhhhhhhh! I've been waiting too. According to some sites Sony has decided to delay one more week for better word of mouth and has reduced the screenings for this weekend from 700 to 400 and now even less.

So, no, it isn't playing in the valley.

It's like the movie "Once" - it was playing very select nationwide, and in the valley just in one theater showed that great film. Too bad. Hope that doesn't happen again. peace
i know it sucks, phoenix was supposed to get it at the esplanade but then they didn't and now only one theater is shown with it available on the 27th for a midnight premiere ...harkins scottsdale and the 101 cine capri ...so yeah i don't know if other places are getting it but i've been wanting to see this movie since summer began..as for it being popular ..well oprah said to see it and who can say no to her.
I called the Esplanade last Thursday. They said it was scheduled to be released on the 21st but it got "taken away from them". They said it will be released on the 28th at Deer Valley.
